Description

Kaliningradskaya TPP-2 is a Kaliningrad energy company, a subsidiary of JSC RAO UES of Russia. The TPP-2 branch is located 5 kilometers southwest of Kaliningrad and occupies an area of 85 hectares. In 2007, to solve the pressing issue of energy deficit in the region, the construction of the second power unit of Kaliningradskaya TPP-2 with the capacity of 450 MW was started, and in December 2010 it was placed in operation.

Kentatsu Stormann KVSA-04-A fresh-air units and air-cooled condenser chillers of different capacities were used for ventilation and air conditioning systems on the premises of TPP-2.

Equipment selection favored reliable, energy efficient and compact equipment. Based on these requirements the Daikin and Kentatsu Stormann equipment was offered. Daikin chillers utilize the most advanced technologies to ensure not only high energy efficiency, but also to make the units compact and easy to install and operate.

The chillers utilize reliable Daikin scroll compressors to deliver extensive smooth performance and high energy efficiency at both full and partial loads. Chillers with integrated hydraulic modules were chosen to save space.
